About Advanced Mantras

What is an advanced mantra?
Your original Vedic Meditation mantra was purpose built for triggering the dive into transcendence. An advanced mantra is an "upgraded" version of your current mantra. You may only receive an advanced mantra after using your current mantra for at least 12 months. 

Why should I get my advanced mantra?
The reason why some meditators elect to get an advanced mantra is to speed up the stabilization effect of meditation, and to refine their meditation experiences. Advanced mantras also help the meditator access higher states of consciousness, beyond cosmic consciousness. An advanced mantra will deepen your meditation practice on all levels.

What's the process for getting my advanced mantra?
Usually, advanced mantra initiations take place on the first day of a meditation course. Or, you may schedule a separate appointment with Light for your advanced mantra (it usually takes about 30 minutes one-on-one). Either way, an initiation is required, which means you must bring fruits, flowers and a contribution of $500. After assigning you your new mantra, Light will meet with you at least one other time to check it and answer any questions you may have.
